Peta Hooke is a Melbourne-based podcaster, disability advocate, and accessibility consultant. Living with Cerebral Palsy, she is dedicated to achieving equality and inclusion in society.  

 

She is the Creator, Host, Producer, and Editor of The I Can’t Stand Podcast, a leading disability-focused show with over 180 episodes.  

 

In 2024, Peta was the host of the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Podcast for Australia and New Zealand, amplifying the experiences of people with non-visible disabilities.  

 

Now in 2025, she has launched Eggs, a limited-series podcast exploring the inaccessibility of IVF fertility treatment and the broader medical system for disabled people.  

 

Beyond podcasting, Peta works with brands and organisations to promote disability representation, accessibility, and inclusion.  

 

She holds a Bachelor of Business and Commerce, a Master of Tourism from Monash University, and a Diploma of Access Consulting.  

 

Peta also serves as:  

- Director of Equity and Accessibility at Friend in Me, an inclusive children’s charity  

- Chair of the Honeycomb Advisory Panel, advocating for greater accessibility in events and the built environment.
